UMESHU
Everybody knows Sake as a traditional Japanese alcohol. Most people in Japan used to drink alcohol because of its cold weather. When I watched Oshin, a Japanese movie series in my childhood time. I noticed that the characters were always drinking warm Sake. They put the bottles in the steam pot for a while and serve them like Tea. Those scenes made me curious about what kind of drink they are. In this way, Sake was introduced to the world by famous movies.
However, Umeshu is less popular globally than Sake because it is rarely revealed on TV series. When I arrived in Japan, my friend introduced me to Umeshu and I found it fun. It is similar to wine as it is made from a specific fruit, has a sweet and sour taste, a thick consistency, and contains around 10-15% alcohol. Most people including some ladies who don't like to drink fall in love with its smell and flavour.
It is extracted from Ume fruits, a kind of Plam which has a sweet and sour taste. We can also find other food products made from Ume as they try to preserve it in various ways. Some make Jam, Some dry it with high-tech, and Some serve as snacks. After seeing several Ume products, I believe that Ume is a kind of traditional food representing their preservative cultures.
UMESHU can support people's health better as it prevents fatigue, releases diarrhoea and constipation, and encourages appetite.
However, one important thing we must know about it is that raw and fresh fruits ain't edible because the original one has mild toxins and the original flavour is very sour.
Additionally, the packaging system in Japan is quite creative, compact and attractive. Every product has its own design but all are clean, systematic and chic. Several UMESUE also used different attractive bottles for packaging to match the products and be different from others.
Packaging is crucial in the marketing strategy as the class of production designs can help the products to infiltrate the world.

One of my friends said that it is like a breathtaking view of seeing plenty of products which has various designs in Supermarkets. Similarly, I also feel mean to throw the packages away after using the products and still want to keep them.
I couldn't find the same taste as the original place when I tried to buy Ume dry fruits in Local shops and it it very hard to find other places apart from Japan. But some Japanese restaurants sell UMESUE.
I recommend to try it as the Japanese tradition even if you are not in Japan. Find the local Japanese restaurants and try UMESUE at least one time.
