The Beauty of Struggling Fish, Bali

It took about four months to prepare to go to Bali. As I wanted to relax on the beautiful Islands for a moment, I decided to go there free and easy.

I made a detailed plan for each day by taking time to search for information from several resources.  During the promotion, I bought air tickets even though the vacation was a bit far.  And then, I also made hotel bookings very early.

As everything was fine, I was very excited about the coming trip and couldn't wait to see Bali. The day I waited for was closer and closer, day by day.

One day, only a week to go to Bali, I saw breaking news about the Volcano in Bali on the internet. The volcano known as Mt. Agung has been dormant for a long time, since 1963. It now produced several warning signs, in 2017. As the ash cloud formed above the volcano, many people from the villages around there were evacuated at once.

I started to worry and hesitated whether I should go or not. I had already spent some money on this trip, so I had no idea what to do.

The airline said that the flights were not yet cancelled when I contacted them. They also said that they would rearrange the other day for free if they cancelled by their side,  and the cost would not be refunded if I cancelled now.

I had no choice at that time. As I didn't want to lose my money, I decided to go there even though I was frightened of eruption.

When I arrived there, the situation was better than I expected. The Kuta beach where I chose to stay was quite far away from Mt. Agung and the beach was still bustling with many tourists. However, I gave up one of my plans to visit to Volcanos. Also, some villages around Mt. Agung were temporarily closed for safety.

There are two active volcanos, and they are Mt. Agung and Mt. Butur. In fact, Mt. Butur is more active than Mt. Agung and it blows smoke causing small eruptions frequently.

However, people were afraid of Mt. Agung as they worried about the intensification of a dormant volcano.

Despite the danger it poses to all living things, we cannot ignore the fact that volcanic eruptions have the power to transform our earth in miraculous ways. The lava produced during an eruption, while incredibly destructive, can also create new resources and improve the quality of soil. This serves as a reminder that even after great struggles, there can be valuable rewards waiting for us.

Those regions where the active volcano is located possess the most breathtaking landscape on earth even though they live in high possibility of danger.

I firmly believe that this fact helps Bali Island to become an attractive place to people from various countries all over the world. It is stunning; it is different.

Bali Map photo from Google search

The map of Bali looks like an energetic fish swimming over the deep ocean. It seems to create a sort of Gorgeous by carrying both contrasted models.

We people are afraid to go through the terrible situation, but we always desire to achieve the best.

Watching the map of Bali, we should inspire and imitate its perseverance.

Please make sure that our environment is not destroyed by our actions.
