Coffee lovers

When we arrived in Ho Chi Minh, rain was pouring heavily.

I was slightly worried as it was not a rainy season in South East Asa and there was a storm alert. However, we found a beautiful coffee shop walking in the rain.

In fact, everybody knows that Vietnam coffee is quite popular. When we entered the shop hopefully, we suddenly didn't know what to order as there were plenty of items in the coffee menu. I flew blind ordered pointing somewhere on the menu.

There is no crowd in the shop. I found that its decoration is quite cosy. They built bookshelf walls with several books which contained coffee history, quotes and articles.

One of my friends said, " Coffee shop culture is not popular in our country. Actually, it is the best idea".

And I replied, " Our people prefer tea to coffee".

Rather, We Myanmar people always like to sit at the tea shop every day as we believe that the tea shop is a sort of local community.

Our tea shop looks like diplomacy. Once we sit there, much news can be received. After a little time, we will know each other and become friends shortly. After that, we share some affairs including our own status and social difficulties.

The coffee shop is better for someone who is introverted or the creators so that they can get inspiration or muse themselves while drinking delicious coffee. Quietness can console loneliness. It's more arts and dreamland. It will be a good choice for some business individuals.

Aside: I think that people in Myanmar prefer tea then coffee is not for expenses, just uncomfortable for glory. However, the younger generation started various coffee shops and became popular in these days.

A waiter brought our coffee to our table. when I saw it, I felt strange because their cup was double-layer. A piece of coffee filter was put inside the upper cup and already pour some hot water on it. Therefore, coffee slowly dripped into the lower cup. We need to be patient to drink it. They also put a cup of milk and a cup of water.

Firstly, I didn't understand what to do. I pressed the coffee ground with the spoon. After I got a sufficient amount of coffee, I removed the upper cup away. When the waiter saw it, she came to me and cleaned that cup and, after that put it back on the other cup.

And said," Please do not press it and let them drop naturally. You need to be patient to have the right taste of coffee"

OMG! I really wonder if we need some time to drink real coffee like this.

When I mixed it with milk, its taste also mixed sweet and bitter. Additionally, I found that included some sour taste. I understand why they put a cup of water. It is better to drink with water to feel this kind of strong, thick and fresh coffee.

After two or three sips of coffee, I take a short break and drink a sip of water. After a few moments, I continued my coffee again.

In this way, I felt that drinking coffee seemed a kind of relaxation and I became comfortable with authentic flavour.

Please make sure that our environment is not destroyed by our actions.
