Seeing these alluring creatures, I named them "Emerald Jet". Its original name is Rajah Brooke's Birdwing given by a naturalist Alfred Russel Wallace. Yes, it is the butterfly, a top-listed native creature of Malaysia. In Cameron Highland, they became a kind of attraction keeping them in the green-house butterfly farm. It is not an outdoor space because they cover the garden with transparent plastic. In the greenhouse, there are various kinds of flowery plants blossoming with different colours, perhaps feeding butterflies and other insects. Interestingly, I found that they feed pineapples to butterflies as well. Besides, we can also find other insects in the garden such as chirr and beetles. They display several kinds of small insets in the glass boxes. Furthermore, the process of butterfly metamorphosis (egg, larva, pupa, and adult) is shown with a good explanation. Cameron Highland is one of the luckiest towns as it has cool weather supporting agriculture at all times. Their main crop is Strawberry, both for local business and tourist attraction. Strawberries in Cameron Highland are not a seasonal food because they can grow every time within a year. As it needs the temperature between 60°F and 80°F/15°C and 26°C, its local weather is always well supported as I mentioned in “Gifted Nature”. I found that the way of cropping is also different from what I have seen before. They built wooden structures including two or three shelves and planted Strawberries row by row which makes a setting of well-prepared landscaping. Some grow in the hanging earthen pots, and most of them grow in the coconut husks wrapped with thick plastic on the wooden shelves rather than planted directly on the ground. There are several reasons if you ask me this question. It is gorgeous as well as it provides a wide range of feelings and knowledge about cultures and nature.
